Collideoscope

A collaborative immersive installation created introducing creative residents from different backgrounds, and walks of life. Each collaborator has chosen a variety of physical objects, audio, and video to share their story. Each story is vastly different from the next and which paints a picture of who we are as individuals but also collectively as a team.

mami wata

Mami Wata is an African water deity that symbolizes power. Early depictions of her are often represented by water snakes or crocodiles. A trans-cultural experience found in parts of Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. For this piece I explore movement and the cosmic realms of water. I replace the image of a snake with a camera to emphasize the endless possibilities power of photography to evoke emotion.
